Opal hunter JC Caruana and veteran miner Rod Mining team up on a cross country road trip across Australia. JC has to learn as much as possible about opal mining and living off the land before becoming a father. He has just three months to accomplish his mission. The pair will have to overcome the most difficult situations, from navigating new types of mining to survive the harsh environment of the remote Australian outback in the search of the precious and elusive Australian opals.
